One key runner to note from each of the seven ITV races on Saturday
Master Tommytucker
1.15 Kempton, Betway Pendil Novices' Chase
The Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old has an unusual profile, with just five rules races under his belt. He is unbeaten when staying on his feet, but has fallen in two of his last three starts, including last time out in the Kauto Star Novices' Chase on this track.
Paul Nicholls has won five of the last eight runnings of the Pendil, including with Cyrname and Frodon, and he will be hoping Master Tommytucker can cope better with Kempton's fences this time around.
1.50 Kempton, Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Adonis Juvenile Hurdle
This Triumph hurdle trial has been won by some progressive horses in recent years, no less so than the Nicky Henderson-trained Fusil Raffles last year.
However, Alan King landed this race in 2017 and 2018 and Blame It On Sally is an interesting runner making his first start over hurdles. He is rated 76 on the Flat and had ten career runs with Sir Mark Prescott.
Watchable
2.05 Lingfield, Betway Hever Sprint Stakes
Ten-year-old Watchable will make his 75th start under rules on Saturday. He landed his tenth career win at Wolverhampton last time out and will hope to follow that up off a mark of 100, his highest rating since May 2017.
Elgin
2.25 Kempton, Betway Kingwell Hurdle
Alan King won this contest in 2017 with Yanworth, before following up a year later with Elgin. The trainer will be hoping eight-year-old Elgin can stage a repeat on Saturday and the RPRs fancy him to do that, with his rating of 176 ten ahead of the second-highest rated Ch'tibello.
Elgin has not been seen since finishing last of seven on the Flat at Newmarket in July 2018, but returns on Saturday fresh from wind surgery.
3.02 Kempton, Sky Bet Dovecote Novices' Hurdle
The Nicky Henderson-trained six-year-old has scraped home in two wins for the trainer so far, winning by a neck at both Taunton and Doncaster.
Henderson has won this three times in the last seven years and will be hoping the former 99-rated Flat performer can complete the hat-trick.
3.15 Lingfield, Betway Winter Derby Stakes
Bangkok was last seen winning here at the start of the month and once again takes on Court House, who he comfortably beat on that occasio. The Andrew Balding-trained four-year-old is likely to find Dubai Warrior his main challenger, with last year's winning duo - John Gosden and Frankie Dettori - teaming up once again.
Black Corton
3.35 Kempton, Betway Handicap Chase
Bryony Frost and Black Corton have proved a fruitful combination for Paul Nicholls and they will go in search of their ninth win together. However, the nine-year-old will have to defy top weight against his stablemate Adrien Du Pont, who leads the market and will carry a stone less.
Double Shuffle, Kildisart and Talkischeap are among the other challengers.
