The first weekend of rugby union's Six Nations Championship coincides with a Saturday when racing fans must keep an eye on every corner of these isles.
While the Dublin Racing Festival may hog the headlines, Sandown and Musselburgh provide the bulk of the ITV action and, for the viewer who prefers a competitive handicap over the elite of the sport going off at cramped odds, the fare in Edinburgh and Esher may be more to their taste.
Not that Sandown is lacking a quality Grade 1 of its own, with the Virgin Bet Scilly Isles Novices' Chase (2.35) looking a tight affair between at least three of the four runners.
