Jumps star Seddon bids to add another big success to CV in feature Flat handicap at Naas

Last year's Cheltenham Festival winner Seddon has proved a remarkable horse for the John McConnell stable and bids to back up a commanding victory at Listowel last month.

That was an impressive display and the evergreen 11-year-old now has the services of champion jockey Colin Keane. It won't be easy off a mark of 90 in such a competitive contest but he's had only three starts on the Flat and looks as good as ever based on his latest success.

Chemistry has a big weight but is a stakes performer in a handicap. He has strong claims for Aidan O'Brien, having chased home stablemate Fighter in a similarly competitive contest over 1m5f at Leopardstown last month.

The winner looked well handicapped and Chemistry stuck to his task, giving the impression this extra distance could be right up his street. A 6lb rise is on the harsh side, while stall 20 is far from ideal.

Having thwarted a 1-9 favourite at Galway on his hurdles debut five days ago, Jabbar arrives in excellent nick. Given his running style, he should appreciate this big field as opposed to his latest start on the Flat at Clonmel, where a muddling pace seemed to catch him out.

Emmet Mullins saddles Toll Stone, who landed a handicap at the Galway festival and did well to be beaten four lengths in a valuable contest at Hamilton in August considering he endured a rough passage. He shapes as if this trip will be fine but connections might be hoping for some rain given his best form has come on soft or heavy ground.

Having showed a resolute attitude to prevail in last year's race, Prairie Dancer warrants consideration off an 8lb higher mark and he landed a beginners' chase at Downpatrick two starts ago. He could never get involved in the Irish Cesarewitch last time and would enjoy cut in the ground.

Man O Work is a live each-way contender given he is unexposed in this discipline. The trip is a slight question mark but he was a good second to Filey Bay at Tramore in maiden company over 2m last year and shaped nicely when chasing home Himalayan Heights at Tipperary in May.

What they say

John McConnell, trainer of Seddon and Mt Leinster
Seddon is in good nick and came out of Listowel very well. We've got Colin Keane on board and he's been very good in his last two runs, so we're hopeful of a big run. You can put a line through Mt Leinster's last run as he wasn't himself. On his run at Galway, he'd have a squeak. He's in off a light weight and is well handicapped if he shows his best.

Ger O'Leary, trainer of Jabbar
He came out of his race at Galway on Tuesday very well. He's fresh and fit and has a lovely light weight, so I'm hoping he can run into some prize-money.

Paul Fahey, trainer of Man O Work
He had a real good run in a maiden at Tramore last year and ran well first time out on the Flat at Tipperary this year. He was a bit disappointing at Killarney on his last Flat run but the race didn't pan out for him. He's in off a lovely light weight and has a big shout if he produces his best.
