Jonbon the rightful star of the show - but will his Cheltenham woes return to haunt him once again?
What a day we have in store. We have the best chaser in Britain running at the country's most prestigious track – at the meeting which those whose interest in the sport goes back a way have long since referred to as the unofficial start to the 'jumps season proper'.
It should be a match made in heaven. Except, when it comes to Jonbon and Cheltenham, the two have never truly clicked. Nicky Henderson's stable star has left with his tail between his legs on three of his four previous visits to jump racing's Mecca.
True, he has bumped into some good ones, but then there was also defeat to Elixir De Nutz last season. He's never quite delivered his very best here.
