Paul Townend will be the envy of every other rider in the Leopardstown weighing room this weekend, and the three-time champion jockey is counting on Chacun Pour Soi giving him the same "special feeling" he got at Christmas when he puts his monstrous reputation on the line against stablemate Min in Saturday's Ladbrokes Dublin Chase.

Chacun Poi Soi is one of at least five favourites Townend will be on board in Grade 1s at the Dublin Racing Festival, and the 30-year-old cannot wait to renew his partnership with the hot favourite for the Champion Chase, who is as short as evens with Paddy Power to end Willie Mullins' hoodoo in the Cheltenham Festival race.

Townend said: "It's a case of so far so good with Chacun this season. He was workmanlike at Cork but he had his swagger back over Christmas. When things are happening for him it's such a special feeling.
