Lambourn Open Day takes place on Friday for the first time in three years
Dave Geddes, landlord of The Wheel in Lambourn, given a shot in the arm since racehorse owner Dave Klein took it on last year, is bracing himself for a blockbuster shift on Friday when the Peter O'Sullevan Lambourn Open Day resumes after a three-year break.
A deep breath was taken when, after I ordered a pint of Guinness at the weekend, it was put to him that Friday might be a busy one.
It might also be an important one – and not just for Lambourn, but even the wider racing industry.
