Whatever this week may have told us about the aftercare some horses receive, racing does many things right.

Ask Debra Hutchinson, who has worked for Roger Fell in Malton for nearly five years and suffered every groom's worst nightmare at Newmarket a couple of years ago.

"I was leading up Admirality in the Bunbury Cup," she recalls. "He's a huge horse and he reared up and I dislocated my shoulder.
