Relish every second at Chantilly as things can change so quickly
There is no better day of racing in Europe than the Sunday of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe meeting and I know from experience what a special occasion it is for every jockey involved.
I have written and said plenty in the last 12 months about what an incredible experience last year's meeting was for me, not only having a ride in the Arc itself but being able to win the Prix de l'Opera on Speedy Boarding with my family at the course to celebrate with me.
Winning that race was the most unbelievable feeling and, on reflection, was probably the icing on the cake of my career. I could not follow it up on Savoir Vivre in the Arc but just having a ride in the great race was a thrill. If you grow up with any sort of ambition to be a jockey, you watch the Arc and dream of riding in it.
