Let National Racehorse Week remind us the best could still be to come for former racehorses

National Racehorse Week is here and with it comes an opportunity to celebrate the stars of the show in all their glory.
Yards are throwing open their doors across the country to allow racing fans a chance to see the care and attention provided to their horses, a standard trainers and stable staff should rightly be proud of.
The event has enjoyed plenty of success and is on track to do so again, but it is hard to fully embrace the occasion in light of the disheartening news surrounding former Shark Hanlon runners.
