There might be two championship races on day three at Cheltenham but this year I think most of us are looking forward to the novice chase more than anything else.

It’s obviously a pity there are just four runners, and I suspect there are a few trainers sorry they didn’t run something as anything can happen.

That said, there’s no denying it is shaping up as a duel. Bob Olinger is a wonderful horse but I just don’t think his jumping is going to be good enough at this level.
