The horse who Ted Walsh last week suggested could be another Arkle or Dawn Run is now facing his biggest challenge yet, but it may not necessarily come from his Marsh Novices' Chase rivals.
Instead, the horse with a perfect racing record will have to overcome an imperfect preparation.
It goes without saying that nobody thinks the top-class Henry de Bromhead team isn't capable of getting the best out of Envoi Allen - they absolutely can.
