Cheltenham Festival package deals is a huge step - but hotel prices are still ludicrous and hurting the town
Jumps fans: say it quietly, but we are almost there.
We might be on the eve of the St Leger but that also means we are just four weeks away from Chepstow's big season-opener and from this point onwards there is absolutely no shame in letting the excitement creep in, skipping through those ante-post markets and of course flooding those Racing Post trackers with hot prospects.
There was also news from Cheltenham this week as the track announced a link-up between the racecourse and travel group Venatour. Essentially, this means pooling resources to create a Cheltenham Festival package of a ticket, accommodation and transportation between the two. There is a range of hotels and pubs to choose from as well as racing-themed entertainment.
