Bouquets for Constitution Hill's team, brickbats for Lossiemouth's - but are these decisions not just two sides of the same coin?

Well, you certainly can’t accuse Michael Buckley and Nicky Henderson of not trying to enjoy the ride while Constitution Hill is fit and firing.

This time last year all the commentary revolved around how we barely ever saw hurdling’s great superstar. Now he’s become so willing to please that Henderson keeps having to find extra spots in the programme to "get his back down".

What’s not to like about the decision to aim for the Aintree Hurdle as well as the Champion Hurdle at Punchestown with one of jump racing's box-office stars, especially when connections could have been forgiven for licking their wounds after Constitution Hill’s unbeaten record over hurdles came to an unceremonious end at Cheltenham?
