500 winners as an individual owner is a fantastic achievement - and Raymond Anderson Green has done it his own way

Milestones were reached everywhere you looked at Kelso on Saturday on a memorable day for some key figures in northern racing.
Lucinda Russell saddled the 1,000th winner of her career and champion conditional Patrick Wadge rode out his claim, while owner Raymond Anderson Green also had reason to celebrate.
A long-standing supporter of racing, particularly in the north, Anderson Green registered his 500th winner when Gold Des Bois won the 2m1f handicap chase.
