One horse, one jockey, one trainer and one race to watch on Saturday

If it had been suggested a year ago that Champers Elysees would be vying for favouritism in her bid to land a second Group 1 by taking the Sun Chariot Stakes (2.45) at Newmarket even her trainer Johnny Murtagh may have laughed.
But after only one win in five as a juvenile, Murtagh’s star filly has had a breathtaking season and became the former Irish champion jockey’s first Group 1 winner when landing the Matron Stakes in impressive fashion at Leopardstown last month.
After starting the season off a mark of 86 in a Curragh handicap, Champers Elysees has sped through the ranks and could provide new owner Teruya Yoshida with a quick return on his investment.
Champers Elysees bought by top Japanese owner but will remain with Murtagh
Jockey
Ryan Moore’s Sunday plans may have changed after Love’s withdrawal from the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, but his Saturday outlook remains unaltered as he travels to Newmarket for five planned rides.
Moore, now aboard Mogul for the Longchamp showpiece, has a fantastic record in the aforementioned Sun Chariot Stakes with three wins in the last six years, and partners Peaceful, who finished runner-up to Champers Elysees in the Matron Stakes.
Moore also rides the John Gosden-trained Moonlight In Paris in the Premier Fillies’ Handicap (2.10) and Galileo colt Bolshoi Ballet in the mile maiden (1.05).
Love would have been a huge danger but we're focusing on Enable, says Grimthorpe
Who will win the 2020 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe based on previous trends?
Trainer
William Haggas has his team in fine form and has eight runners across five cards on Saturday as he closes in on 100 winners for the season.
His French Group 3 winner Monica Sheriff is partnered by James Doyle in the Group 1 Prix de Royallieu (2.15) at Longchamp, and needs to bounce back after a disappointing effort in the Park Hill at Doncaster last time out.
The Newmarket trainer also runs two closer to home, including Oti Ma Boati in the Premier Fillies’ Handicap (2.10) and has further runners at Ascot, Redcar and Wolverhampton.
Race
The Grade 2 PWC Champion Stakes (4.55) is headlined by the return of Henry de Bromhead’s Arkle winner Put The Kettle On as the jumps season picks up pace at Gowran Park.
The Storyteller and Easy Game are big contenders for Gordon Elliott and Willie Mullins respectively and should be primed having already picked up wins this campaign.
De Bromhead – who won this race four years in a row with Sizing Europe from 2011 to 2014 – also runs Paloma Blue in a strong six-field.
