Native River's part-owner Garth Broom thinks bookmakers have underestimated his star chaser, and believes he is "overpriced" to capture the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup for a second time.

The Colin Tizzard-trained ten-year-old has raced only once this season when a comfortable winner of the four-runner Many Clouds Chase at Aintree, and Broom believes he is back to his 2018 Gold Cup-winning best.

Native River is set to bid for a third consecutive victory in the Betfair Denman Chase at Newbury on Saturday week, but Broom believes his 12-time winner should be much shorter than 16-1 for the Gold Cup.
