'It's a nice ride to pick up' - Oisin Murphy has first sit on Cheveley Park candidate trained by the Crisfords

Murphy gets call up

Juveniles with Group entries at Newmarket next Saturday had some match practice on the Rowley Mile, including Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes candidate Arabian Dusk.

Oisin Murphy drove from Lambourn to get a first feel of the Simon and Ed Crisford trainee, who went through the gears in a six-furlong exercise.

Before heading back to Berkshire, the jockey said: "It’s the first time I’ve ridden her and it’s a nice ride to pick up. She gave me a good feel.”
