Ghaiyyath leaps to the top of the table with the promise of more to come

Ghaiyyath not only cemented his position as the best racehorse in the world with his memorable victory in the Juddmonte International, he also swept to the top of the Tote Ten to Follow table as the highest points scorer in the competition.

The victory of the Godolphin five-year-old in one of the three bonus races at York last week secured 53.30 points for his followers and took his tally to 108.40 points.

Battaash scooped the Nunthorpe bonus points and is now the second-highest scorer in the game on 102.20 points, whilst Que Amoro, who looked likely to spoil the Battaash party, landed 15.70 consolation points for finishing second.

Love confirmed her status with victory in the Yorkshire Oaks to add 27.30 points to her score and put her into joint fifth in the list with Mohaather and Stradivarius on 80.20. With the Arc now firmly on her agenda there could be bonus points to come at Longchamp.

Fujaira Prince landed the remaining bonus points on offer to return 42.90 thanks to his Ebor victory. He was selected by just 29 stables at the start of the game.

Certain Lad, who was selected by just seven stables, landed 28.50 for his Rose of Lancaster victory, assisted in no small part by his return of £10.30 on the Tote.

There is no change at the top of the overall leaderboard as Teleprompter1 becomes the first team in the game to go past 700 points, with six out of the top ten highest-scoring horses represented in his stable.

The next bonus races to play for are the Irish Champion Stakes and St Leger on September 12.
