The roar is now less than a week away and next Tuesday thousands of fans will be there to greet the start of the 2022 Cheltenham Festival.

A number of next week's big races remain devilishly difficult to unpick, starting with the curtain-raising Supreme.

And as the festival looms large, five of our experts have put together a Lucky 15, picking out one fancy across each of the four days.

2022 Cheltenham Festival: big-race entries and betting

Tom Segal

Tuesday
Sir Gerhard, Supreme

Hopefully Willie Mullins will see sense and run his best and fastest novice in the Supreme. If he does, Constitution Hill will have to be all he's cracked up to be and more to beat him.

Wednesday
L'Homme Presse, Brown Advisory

Should improve again for the step up to 3m½f and course form gives him the edge over Bravemansgame.

Thursday
Flooring Porter, Stayers' Hurdle

Easy winner of the race last year and has done nothing since to suggest he can't win it again.

Friday
Protektorat, Gold Cup

More to come from him at staying trips and his level of form on his last three starts is not too far off the proven Gold Cup horses anyway.

Richard Forristal

Tuesday
Stattler, National Hunt Chase

Has improved for fences, relishes a trip and his form is tip top so it's hard to see past him.

Wednesday
Journey With Me, Ballymore Novices' Hurdle

Has loads of quality and is a value option after defying circumstances to impress at Naas.

Thursday
Dinoblue, Mares' Novices' Hurdle

Comes here a little under the radar but her Clonmel debut was spectacular and the form looks smart.

Friday
A Plus Tard, Gold Cup

Nap material. Carried out on his shield last year, he looked to have improved at Haydock and the stable's horses weren't firing when he was beaten at Christmas.

Maddy Playle

Tuesday
Come On Teddy, Ultima

Creditable third in last year's Pertemps and has been crying out for a stamina test over fences.

Wednesday
Red Rookie, Grand Annual

Just a 4lb rise for his latest win looks lenient and a testing two miles is exactly what he wants.

Thursday
Celebre D'Allen, Plate

Looked way ahead of his mark on his first British chase start and the owners have successfully targeted this race twice in the last ten years.

Friday
Balco Coastal, County

Found 2m4½f too far on Trials day, but this strong-travelling novice should be right at home in this field if squeezing in.

Graeme Rodway

Tuesday
Constitution Hill, Supreme Novices' Hurdle

Has been the outstanding 2m novice hurdler in Britain this season and he looks capable of carrying the fight to the Irish from the start.

Wednesday
Redemption Day, Bumper

Looked a superstar when finishing full of running to beat Naas scorer Music Drive at Leopardstown over Christmas and can upset Facile Vega.

Thursday
The Big Galloper, Pertemps

Trainer Charles Byrnes had no explanation for the huge upturn in form at Musselburgh last time but he won well and could follow up.

Friday
Vauban, Triumph

The banker of the week. He showed a remarkable amount of speed when beating Fil Dor at Leopardstown and is a Champion Hurdle horse next year.

Robbie Wilders

Tuesday
Vanillier, National Hunt Chase

An 11-length winner of the Albert Bartlett at the festival last season and has been trained to peak for this race.

Wednesday
Redemption Day, Champion Bumper

Form of his Leopardstown victory over Christmas has worked out excellently and stablemate Facile Vega isn't home and dry yet.

Thursday
Song For Someone, Stayers' Hurdle

Has been running over the wrong trip this season and shapes as if he will improve markedly for three miles.

Friday
Il Etait Temps, Triumph Hurdle

Ran a cracker on his first start for Willie Mullins when third to Vauban in the Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown.
