Confirmed runners and riders for Saturday's Stewards' Cup at Goodwood

First Folio missed the cut by three for Saturday's £225,000 Unibet Stewards' Cup and is now set to carry top weight of 9st 10lb in the consolation race earlier on the card.

The three-year-old is two from three since joining James Ferguson from Henri-Francois Devin this season and was no bigger than 7-1 for the 28-runner feature on the final day of Glorious Goodwood.

Three of the last six winners of the Stewards' Cup were aged three but the Classic generation will have no representation this year.

Last year's winner Summerghand will attempt to become the first horse to successfully defend his crown since Sky Diver in 1968, and will actually carry 1lb less than when winning off top weight 12 months ago.

The David O'Meara-trained seven-year-old will come out of stall 17 once more, the same berth he was in 12 months ago, following Thursday's live draw.

He will have leading fancies either side, with connections of Fresh (16) and Hurricane Ivor (18) electing to go higher when picking stalls.
