'We're not afraid to run more than one' - Christian Williams eyes next big prize
Jack Tudor will face his first big test since losing his claim after Christian Williams confirmed he is set to ride ante-post favourite Kitty's Light instead of Eider Chase heroine Win My Wings in the Coral Scottish Grand National at Ayr on April 2.
Tudor, who landed the 2019 Welsh Grand National for Williams as a 7lb conditional on Potters Corner, rode out his claim this month and will bid to cap off another landmark campaign in the Scottish equivalent on Kitty's Light, who is the general 7-1 market leader.

The jockey opted not to ride the six-year-old when he was second in February's Coral Trophy under Brian Hughes – a race Tudor won on stablemate Cap Du Nord – but will be reunited at Ayr with the gelding, who also filled the runner-up spot in the Charlie Hall Chase and last season's bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown.
Williams' other runner Win My Wings is also towards the top of the betting at 12-1, and the Glamorgan-based trainer is relishing making the trip to Scotland in a bid to give Wales a second victory in the contest in its last four runnings.
"Jack always rides Kitty's Light and Nick Scholfield usually rides Win My Wings," he said. "I'll speak to the owners, but obviously Jack will be the plan to ride Kitty's Light.
"Kitty's Light has done such a great job already, but he always seems to come into himself this time of year. You only had to watch Win My Wings' race to be impressed, it was her first time at the trip and she'll improve a bit more.
"I couldn't split them on chances – the race will suit them both and each horse deserves to run. We make no secret that we always want to target the bigger races when we have horses of their calibre and we're not afraid to run more than one in them."
Kitty's Light could also bid for redemption in the bet365 Gold Cup, in which he was dramatically impeded by the demoted first-past-the-post Enrilo, as part of an audacious big-race double attempt, but Williams already has his eyes set on Grand National glory next year with him.
He added: "Winning a big race like that would be a massive bonus and I didn't want to miss the Scottish National, but we're already looking forward to next season.
"I always thought he'd be a perfect Grand National type and, while he wouldn't have qualified with his age this time, it'll be his major aim next year."
While Tudor could be in line for a notable spring, Williams' other conditional Ellis Collier is likely to miss the rest of the season having broken his collarbone in a nasty fall at Ffos Las on Thursday.
"It's a big shame, he was going to have a big ride on Groom D'Oudairies on Scottish National day," Williams said. "Those rides don't define your career, but give you a great experience on the big days.
"He was knocked out too and with the duration of time he was out for, he's better taking off longer than needs be."
