ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the seven races on ITV on Saturday
1.40 Doncaster
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Lightning Novices' Chase, 2m½f, Grade 2
This is all about Shishkin, who will go off a red-hot favourite to extend his winning record over fences and take another step towards the Sporting Life Arkle. Cheddleton has been impressive on his last two starts over fences and shapes as the biggest danger, while Eldorado Allen needs to bounce back from a disappointing run at Sandown last time.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: SHISHKIN
Looks a superstar and barring mishaps he should be very tough to beat today
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Yorkshire Rose Mares' Hurdle, 2m½f, Grade 2
Nicky Henderson saddles two of the market principles in Floressa and Marie's Rock. The first named got the better of battle between the pair at Newbury earlier in the season, while Miranda looks a big player for Paul Nicholls. The remainder of the field is not short on quality either, with Irish Roe and Rayna's World boasting some good form as well as unexposed eight-year-old Sopat.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: IRISH ROE
Consistent record in this race and no surprise if she goes close
Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap, 6f
Power Over Me seeks a four-timer after a pair of wins over this course and distance preceded by victory at Chelmsford. Swiss Pride is another to be in the midst of a good run of form having won last time out as is Vandard, who has hit the frame on his last four starts without winning.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: POWER OVER ME
3-3 for the yard and looked miles ahead of his mark here on Sunday; hard to beat

Albert Bartlett River Don Novices' Hurdle, 3m½f, Grade 2
A Grade 2 with plenty of promising types primed to make a mark in the three mile novice division. Emir Sacree was off the mark at the first time of asking for Nicky Henderson and holds obvious claims, as does Pats Fancy who finished second in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham last time. Ashtown Lad, Ask a Honey Bee and Bobhopeornohope are other notable names in an open contest.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: FERN HILL
Rallied to win over 2m5f at Wetherby latest, providing optimism regarding this longer trip
Pirate King went close over course and distance last time and will likely be a short price to succeed off the same mark. Hydroplane has not ran on the Flat for over a year but was in good form over hurdles in the autumn. The opposite can be said of Midnights Legacy, who while talented has lost his way of late. The field is completed by Renardeau and Just The Man.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: PIRATE KING
Rock-solid yardstick over C&D and race perhaps didn't go his way latest; big run expected
Sky Bet Handicap Chase, 3m, Listed
One of the most competitive handicaps of the season but Cap Du Nord got to within four lengths of Royale Pagaille at Kempton and is a worthy favourite. One For The Team boasts good form having been far from disgraced in a Grade 1 last time, while Canelo impressed in winning the Royland Meyrick at Wetherby. Yorkhill is a notable runner further down the market as he attempts to follow up his rousing success at Newcastle last time.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: CAP DU NORD
Ready winner at Newbury two starts ago and clear second to Royal Pagaille next time
Bombardier British-Hopped Amber Beer Handicap, 1m
Catch My Breath will be a banker of the day for many as he goes in search of a quickfire course-and-distance hat-trick. This will be his toughest task of late however, with Golden Force and Masked Identity arriving in good form. Atheeb is better than he showed at Kempton last time, while Lethal Lunch is a talented six-year-old with the benefit of Adam Kirby in the saddle.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: MASKED IDENTITY
Unlucky in running at Chelmsford last time; has a big run in him once again
