Gordon Elliott is poised to unleash an all-star Dublin Racing Festival team spearheaded by Fil Dor after giving the surface at Leopardstown his seal of approval following a course walk on Wednesday.

The Dublin track has been at the centre of criticism in recent years for delivering ground considered too quick by some at a number of its flagship meetings, with several high-profile connections – including Elliott and Willie Mullins – emphasising their desire for safe conditions.

Watering has continued this week after 160mm was applied throughout January, leaving the going officially described as yielding.
