'You'll see a different Gerri Colombe at Leopardstown' - Gordon Elliott adds further spice to red-hot Savills Chase

The Gold Cup runner-up produced a tame reappearance in the Champion Chase at Down Royal last month when only third at 8-11, but Elliott is adamant Gerri Colombe ran below form there and said the signs have been far more positive from him at home.
Elliott said: "That definitely wasn't the Gerri I know at Down Royal. I was never happy with him at any stage watching the race and he didn't even finish out his race. That was a real tell-tale sign to me that he wasn't right, as he always finishes out his races, and he just wasn't quite right in himself in the days after it either.
