'She has an absolutely brilliant temperament' - confidence high for unbeaten Babouche in Cheveley Park Stakes
Colin Keane believes Babouche's laid-back nature has helped her become one of the best juveniles in training this season and Ireland's five-time champion jockey cannot wait to get back on board the unbeaten filly in the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
It is 13 years since Ger Lyons won the race with Lightening Pearl and Babouche is a standout 13-8 with Paddy Power to double his account in the Grade 1 after beating the colts in the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh last month.
The runner-up Whistlejacket has since won the Prix Morny at Deauville and is odds-on with most firms to win the Middle Park 35 minutes after the Cheveley Park.
