Shark Hanlon aiming big with two Grade 1 targets for Hewick before six-month ban kicks in

An impending six-month ban has not blunted Shark Hanlon's ambitions with Hewick, who is being aimed at two Grade 1 races in just 21 days, starting with Saturday's Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal.
Connections will pay €15,000 (£12,494) to supplement last season's King George winner to Saturday's Down Royal showpiece, before a planned raid on the Betfair Chase at Haydock on November 23.
The two races come before Hanlon starts a six-month ban, which was reduced from ten months on appeal last week, on December 1.
