Solness team revelling in first Grade 1 win - and have high hopes for their impressive Willie Mullins-trained bumper winner
Emerging owners Bronsan Racing are revelling in their first Grade 1 win with the Joseph O'Brien-trained Solness and looking forward to another bright prospect in impressive Fairyhouse bumper winner Future Prospect.
Run by father and son Neil and Con Sands, Bronsan Racing have made a notable impact since their colours began to appear regularly on racecourses in late 2022. Solness has been the flagbearer, landing seven of his 22 starts and nearly €240,000 in prize-money.
His crowning moment came at Leopardstown on Friday under an enterprising ride from JJ Slevin, who steered him to victory by three and three-quarter lengths over Gaelic Warrior in the Paddy's Rewards Club Chase, massively vindicating the decision to supplement him.
