'He hit the line hard, it was a super run' - Dylan Browne McMonagle a big fan of leading Arc hopeful Los Angeles
Dylan Browne McMonagle believes Los Angeles will relish the step back up to a mile and a half in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe with the in-form rider impressed by the way he hit the line in the Irish Champion Stakes and also by the fact he kept on galloping after it.
Los Angeles is now the Ballydoyle number one for the Arc at a best-priced 8-1 and the Irish Derby winner put the finishing touches to his preparations when finishing fourth behind Economics in last Saturday's showpiece at Leopardstown.
That was over a mile and a quarter and Browne McMonagle, who was riding the son of Camelot for the first time, is convinced the extra two furlongs at Longchamp will play to his strengths.
