Gavin Cromwell out to continue cracking Cheltenham record with Bottler'secret set to led the charge at Showcase meeting
Cheltenham is back this week and Bottler'secret will form part of a strong squad from Gavin Cromwell's stable at the Showcase meeting in what is shaping up to be a red-hot renewal of the Masterson Holdings Hurdle on Saturday.
Cromwell had nine winners from 30 runners at the home of jump racing last season and three of those arrived at the Showcase meeting, with Flooring Porter successfully switching to chasing in the 3m novice chase, Encanto Bruno winning the 2m4f novice hurdle and My Mate Mozzie landing the 2m novice chase.
The trainer, who has already won the Kerry National in Ireland this season, has nine entries over the two days and arguably the most exciting of those is Bottler'secret, who will bid to follow in the footsteps of Tiger Roll, Sceau Royal, Botox Has, I Like To Move It and Pied Piper, all previous winners of the race for four-year-olds on Saturday's card in the last decade.
