Saeed bin Suroor and Charlie Appleby give the lowdown on their Dubai squads
SAEED BIN SUROOR
Comfortably the most successful trainer at the Dubai World Cup Carnival, Godolphin stalwart Saeed bin Suroor started the year with doubles at the first two meetings, taking his tally to 236 since the carnival's inception in 2004. Last year's Dubai World Cup hero Thunder Snow is now at stud, but the Bin Suroor team is still characteristically strong.

Was impressive when winning the Group 2 Singspiel Stakes, a race he also won in 2018, on his comeback. He will likely follow the same route as two years ago when he won the Al Rashidiya, was second on Super Saturday in the Jebel Hatta and won the Dubai Turf on the World Cup card. However, we've not ruled out trying him on dirt so he'll be entered in the Dubai World Cup.
