Meet the big-spending American going to extraordinary lengths for Royal Ascot winners - but who has a Japan Cup date first with Goliath
John Stewart has his sights set on winning the Japan Cup on Sunday with his King George hero Goliath – but he is also looking further ahead in a remarkable pursuit of winners on the biggest stage.
Stewart, who runs horses under the Resolute Racing banner, has splashed millions on horses to develop a racing and breeding empire in just two years.
So hungry is he for Royal Ascot winners that he is building a replica of the track's home straight at his training centre in Kentucky to aid the preparation of more than 50 juveniles next season.
