'It will be horrible to watch' - Wathnan team on fact-finding mission with three set to line up against each other at Longchamp

Wathnan Racing adviser and chief talent scout Richard Brown admits that Sunday's Prix du Prince d'Orange will make for "horrible watching" after confirming that recent acquisition Map Of Stars will join First Look and Fast Tracker at Longchamp. 

The Group 3 could also feature Godolphin's progressive Ombudsman and Meydaan for Simon and Ed Crisford, in what promises to be a fascinating subplot on the undercard to the Prix du Moulin clash between Charyn, Notable Speech and Henry Longfellow.

The regally bred Map Of Stars – a son of Sea The Stars and Prix Vermeille winner Bateel – is two from two for Francis Graffard and Al Asayl, and adds to a powerful group of French-trained middle-distance three-year-olds now in Wathnan ownership.
