'I'm going to miss it very much' - Nick Rust prepares to step down from BHA helm

Nick Rust has said he feels "incredibly privileged" to have had the opportunity to head the BHA, as the governing body's chief executive prepared for his final day at the helm on Friday.

Rust, who is due to be succeeded by Julie Harrington in the new year, joined the BHA in January 2015 following a lengthy career in the bookmaking industry.

He said on Thursday: "I feel incredibly privileged to have had the chance to lead the BHA for six years and to have played a part at the heart of a fantastic industry.
