'I love a trip to Epsom' - Paul Midgley tempted with Dash entry for Mid Winster

Saturday: Catterick
Paul Midgley is setting his sights on another shot at one of his favourite races after Mid Winster showed herself to be better than ever with a victory in the featured five-furlong handicap.
Midgley, who landed the Epsom Dash with Desert Law in 2015 and with Tanasoq in 2018, believes next week's valuable sprint is just the ticket for the six-year-old mare.
"I love a trip to Epsom and am always keen to have a go at the Dash," he said. "We’ll see how she is on Monday but all being well I’d like her to go. If she can’t, then the Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh would be a good alternative.
"She is so honest and genuine and it was a comfortable watch today – it always looked as if she was going to win.
"This is her highest winning mark and she is definitely a better horse than she was last season. She already has some black type and later on in the season we might try to get some more for her, though it’s going to be difficult to find a suitable race."
Praise for Paula
Paula Muir has been earning plenty of plaudits for her riding and she was again seen to good effect when guiding Robert Johnson to a neck defeat of the favourite Haven Lady in the 1m4f handicap.
"He’s a big horse and a difficult one to handle and Paula did a great job. She is having a great season and deserves plenty of credit for the way she is riding," said winning trainer Rebecca Menzies.
