From the moment Enable's ascendancy began, her story has been one of pure racing theatre. The leading lady has compiled a race record that is nothing short of exceptional, with 11 Group 1s already and the prospect of a 12th, a feat that would see her claim a third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, on the horizon at Longchamp on Sunday.
She has been joined by a powerful supporting cast, with Frankie Dettori in the saddle for those key successes. The ebullient Italian's showmanship has been complimented by Enable's statesmanlike trainer John Gosden, who is not only a master of his craft but a man whose eloquent insights have helped to illuminate the personality that Enable has displayed during her five seasons in training.
