Paisley Park's owner Andrew Gemmell is already eager to be back cheering on his beloved star at the Cheltenham Festival again in March after listening to his "unbelievable" third Cleeve Hurdle win on Saturday from a hospital ward in London.

Gemmell, whose silks were also carried to success by Flying Nun at Fontwell on Sunday, will be in London Bridge Hospital for several more days following surgery on a heart valve, after deciding to have the operation now so he can be at Cheltenham when the 2019 Stayers' Hurdle hero tries to regain his crown.

Paisley Park's Cleeve win sparked raucous celebrations among the Cheltenham crowd in a scarcely believable success after he gave up more than a dozen lengths when nearly refusing to race at the start, only to make up the ground and surge up the Cheltenham hill to win by three and a quarter lengths.
