'He's got gears' - Constitution Hill set for Tolworth test before Jonbon date
Constitution Hill, who earned a monster first-time-out Racing Post Rating when storming home at Sandown last month, is all set to headline the track's action on Saturday in the Unibet Tolworth Novices' Hurdle – a race that could lead to a mouthwatering Supreme showdown at the Cheltenham Festival with his equally exciting stablemate Jonbon.
Nicky Henderson is in the fortunate position to train the pair, who head the betting for the Sky Bet-backed festival opener with the JP McManus-owned Jonbon a 2-1 shot and Michael Buckley's Constitution Hill available at 4-1.
Those odds could tumble if the five-year-old, who earned an RPR of 148 on his hurdling debut, turns it on in the Tolworth and Henderson seems relaxed about the prospect of the two meeting at Cheltenham.
