'He'll be very good' - 16-year-old Gingell set for big spin in Coral Gold Cup

Freddie Gingell is set for the biggest ride of his burgeoning career in Saturday's Coral Gold Cup on Lostintranslation – a horse connections are convinced can go close if the rain stays away from Newbury.

He is trained by the conditional rider's uncle, Joe Tizzard, and won the 1965 Chase at Ascot 12 months ago.

He has not fired since, but has dropped to a rating of 150, which part-owner Richard O'Dwyer believes gives him a fighting chance of landing Newbury's big handicap, which used to be known as the Hennessy.
