Guineas favourite Quadrilateral to face eight rivals in Fillies' Mile on Friday
Qipco 1,000 Guineas favourite Quadrilateral will face eight rivals as she bids to become Khalid Abdullah's latest Group 1 winner in the bet365 Fillies' Mile on Friday at Newmarket.
The Roger Charlton-trained daughter of Frankel looked like the next potential superstar off the famed Juddmonte production line when storming to an impressive success at Newbury last month.
However, following her connections' decision to stump up the £40,000 supplementary fee on Saturday, Quadrilateral will face her sternest examination yet in the Fillies' Mile, with opposition headed by Aidan O'Brien's Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Love. O'Brien has won the race five times, including three on the spin between 2014 and 2016.
Jessica Harrington, successful in Sunday's Prix Marcel Boussac with Albigna, trains the other Irish contender, the unbeaten Cayenne Pepper.
Powerful Breeze is also unbeaten for trainer Hugo Palmer, while Frankie Dettori and John Gosden combine with last month's Newcastle winner Anastarsia.
Ananya (Peter Chapple-Hyam), Boomer (Tom Dascombe), Queen Daenerys (Roger Varian) and West End Girl (Mark Johnston) complete the field.
Limato will bid for a third successive win in the Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Awards Challenge Stakes, with just four rivals standing in the way of the Henry Candy-trained seven-year-old.
Lockinge winner Mustashry has not run since finishing fifth in the Coral-Eclipse but makes his return, with Shine So Bright, Oh This Is Us and Solar Gold completing the line-up.
Final Song, Stylistique and Vividly have been declared in a nine-runner field for the Group 3 Godolphin Lifetime Care Oh So Sharp Stakes. Fourteen runners have been declared for the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes which opens the card.
The £120,000 bet365 Old Rowley Cup Handicap has attracted 19 runners, with Melrose second First In Line heading the weights.
