Cambridgeshire gamble emerges as new favourite Anmaat halves in price
There has been a substantial swing in the bet365 Cambridgeshire Handicap () market where the progressive Anmaat has settled as the new 9-2 favourite (from 10-1 overnight) after being significantly backed this morning.
The unexposed Shadwell-owned three-year-old is 2lb well in at the weights and has recorded impressive victories at Bath and Doncaster on his last two starts.
Anmaat's Racing Post Rating of 105 at Doncaster was a clear career best effort and he is yet to finish outside the first three in five starts.
Paddy Power spokesman Paul Binfield said: "Punters have sent Anmaat to the front of the market in no uncertain terms and clearly believe Owen Burrows' charge is capable of completing his hat-trick off a mark that effectively puts him 2lb well in."
ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the six races on ITV4 on Saturday
Overnight market leader Magical Morning, trained by John and Thady Gosden, is a best-priced 9-1 (from 7), while stablemate Uncle Bryn is continuing to drift.
Uncle Bryn had been a clear favourite for the race at the start of the week but the decision of Frankie Dettori to partner the former resulted in some shifts in the market and the mount of Rab Havlin can now be backed at 11-1 (from 5-1 on Thursday).
At bigger prices, the Andrew Balding-trained Good Birthday is being backed to take advantage of increased each-way terms for the big-field race and is into 25-1 (from 40) to strike for champion jockey Oisin Murphy.
Lucander (12 from 16), Irish Admiral (16-1 from 20) and Fantastic Fox (16-1 from 22) have also been well supported at double-figure prices this morning.
It could be a big day on the Rowley Mile for Irish trainer Ger Lyons and his Dr Zempf (9-2 from 5) has closed the gap on Prix Morny winner Perfect Power, who has drifted slightly to 11-4 (from 2) in the market for the Group 1 Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes (3.00).
Lyons' other Group 1 runner at Newmarket, unbeaten filly Sacred Bridge, is a steady 2-1 favourite for the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes (2.25), although Sandrine – who lost her own unbeaten record in the Lowther Stakes last time out – has been fancied to at least reverse form with Zain Claudette and is now 7-2 (from 9-2).

Going quickens at Newmarket with Cambridgeshire field hit by non-runners
Conditions at Newmarket remain on the quick side for a huge day of action on the Rowley Mile.
The going was altered slightly on Saturday morning to good to firm (from good to firm, good in places) after some wind-assisted quick times were posted on Friday.
Selective watering took place after racing yesterday, with 3mm applied to the course between the one furlong and three furlong poles and between the seven furlong and nine furlong poles.
Newmarket clerk of the course Michael Prosser said: "It's a bit of a different morning today, overcast and a bit misty but warm. We changed the ground to good to firm all the way through this morning and the forecast is completely dry today with absolutely no breeze.
"We watered selectively last night and I'm happy with the position we're in."
The ground is good to firm at Haydock, where two races (2.05 and 2.40) complement the televised action from Newmarket.
The going at the Curragh is good, good to firm in places for its eight-race card featuring a pair of Group races.
The Tim Easterby-trained Art Power is a strong favourite for the Renaissance Stakes (4.10) while Killarney winner Luxembourg is no bigger than evens to make a successful jump into Group 2 company on just his second start for Aidan O'Brien in the Beresford Stakes (2.30).
Non-runners
Last year's winner Majestic Dawn will not bid to become the first back-to-back Cambridgeshire winner since 1970, with the quick Newmarket conditions causing a glut of non-runners meaning first reserve Baltic Baron has earned a spot in the much-reduced field.
