Frankie Dettori to ride Persian Force in Prix Morny as Amo uncertainty continues
Frankie Dettori has received a late call-up to ride Persian Force in the Group 1 Darley Prix Morny (1.33) at Deauville on Sunday.
James Doyle was set to partner the July Stakes winner in France but was forced to give up his rides at Sandown on Saturday after a fall at Salisbury on Friday evening.
Persian Force's owners Amo Racing were in the news on Friday when their retained rider Rossa Ryan announced the pair had split after winning aboard State Occasion at York.
Kia Joorabchian, who runs Amo Racing, later said Ryan had not been sacked and instead replaced this weekend while an "internal investigation" took place.
Ryan was set to partner Amo Racing's Olivia Maralda in the Group 2 Debutante Stakes (3.45) at the Curragh on Saturday but has been replaced by Leigh Roche.
Persian Force is the 7-4 second favourite for the Morny, with the market led by Blackbeard for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore.
Darley Prix Morny (1.33 Deauville, Sunday)
