Four dark horses you need to look out for at York this week
Pyledriver
Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes, 2.45 Wednesday
Pyledriver failed to really make an impression in the Derby last time but should be bang there if recapturing the form of his King Edward VII Stakes success at Royal Ascot.
The William Muir-trained three-year-old ran a blinder that day and given rain is forecast in the lead up to the meeting on the Knavesmire, some cut in the ground could give him an edge.
Pyledriver is the second highest-rated runner in the field and looks a much greater proposition, particularly from an each-way perspective, than the likes of the inconsistent Mogul and unknown Darain.

Princess Power
Sky Bet Fillies' Sprint Handicap, 4.20 Wednesday
Princess Power has tumbled in the weights since the beginning of the season and built on a rock-solid Sandown third when going one better at Ascot last time.
She saw no cover that day having been trapped on the wing and, while no match for the winner, beat the rest decisively.
Nigel Tinker's filly ran a blinder at this meeting 12 months ago, and is likely to have been primed for another bold performance at her local track.
Expect Princess Power to run a huge race at decent odds.

Double Or Bubble
British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap, 4.50 Thursday
The Chris Wall-trained Double Or Bubble confirmed the promise of her debut second last year when scoring off almost a year break in a Sandown novice earlier this month.
Double Or Bubble, a sister to talented former stablemate Mix And Mingle, was runner-up to the now 94-rated Mr Kiki at Yarmouth and defeated the vastly more experienced Model Guest at the Esher track.
An opening mark of 86 appears reasonable and the Salah Fustok-owned filly could go well off a low weight with William Buick booked to ride.

Umm Kulthum
Sky Bet Lowther Stakes, 1.45 Thursday
With only a debut victory at Thirsk under her belt, Umm Kulthum will need to find spades of improvement for the Group 2 Sky Bet Lowther Stakes if lining up on Thursday.
But the way she gobbled up the ground in the final furlong under relatively minimal persuasion was taking, especially as she had to switch round runners while doing so. The time of her win also compared favourably with an older horse handicap run later on the card over the same 5f trip.
She should have no issues with 6f on the Knavesmire, and, if it is not too tough on only her second start, she could be an intriguing contender.
