'We wouldn't want to bottom him out on really testing ground' - Bradsell team hoping ground dries out for Prix de l'Abbaye bid
The team behind top sprinter Bradsell will be keeping a close eye on conditions at Longchamp before deciding whether to have a tilt at the Prix de l’Abbaye on the Arc undercard on Sunday.
The Victorious Racing-owned four-year-old, trained by Archie Watson, has returned from a near-year layoff in fantastic form, winning a Listed race at Deauville before sealing Group 1 victories in the Nunthorpe at York and the Flying Five at the Curragh.
Bradsell has not run on ground easier than good to soft and connections are keen to leave a decision late to assess the ground, with declarations for the top-level sprint closing on Friday morning.
