Confirmed runners and riders for the second day of the Irish Champions Festival and the Arc trials
Kyprios, the jewel in the Flat staying division, will face seven rivals as he bids to win another Irish St Leger (4.45) on the second day of the Irish Champions Festival at the Curragh on Sunday.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained six-year-old was a sublime winner two years ago, but was runner-up behind Eldar Eldarov when making his comeback from a career-threatening injury last year. However, he has emerged as the leading stayer once more, having since won the Ascot Gold Cup and Goodwood Cup again.
His aims to add more Irish St Leger glory to his illustrious roll of honour, but faces a tough task against dual Yorkshire Cup hero Giavellotto, who was last seen winning the Princess of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket in July.
Vauban, who bounced back to winning ways in the Lonsdale Cup last time, will bid for a Group 1 win to add to his successes at the highest level over hurdles before another tilt at the Melbourne Cup. The field is completed by Al Qareem, Crypto Force, German raiders Waldadler and Nastaria, as well as The Euphrates.
Also on the star-studded card, Bradsell faces 17 rivals as he bids to back up his Nunthorpe Stakes win in the Flying Five Stakes (3.35).

Leading juveniles Henri Matisse and Aomori City face off in a fascinating clash in the National Stakes (4.10), with the former the red-hot favourite to maintain his unbeaten record following his win in the Futurity Stakes last time.
Bedtime Story, the brilliant Chesham Stakes winner, faces four rivals in the Moyglare Stud Stakes including two stablemates in Sweet Solera winner Lake Victoria and Exactly. The Ollie Sangster-trained Simmering and exciting Juddmonte juvenile Red Letter complete the field.
Star-studded fields set for Arc trials day
At Longchamp, Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe ante-post favourite Look De Vega goes on trial in the Group 2 Prix Niel ahead of next month's date with destiny.
The Carlos and Yann Lerner-trained three-year-old has his first start since winning the Prix du Jockey Club and faces five rivals including Derby runner-up Ambiente Friendly, who will be ridden by Christophe Soumillon.
Also on the card, Bluestocking faces 11 rivals including a top-class clash against Prix de Diane heroine Sparkling Plenty and Nassau Stakes winner Opera Singer in the Prix Vermeille.
The Juddmonte-owned star reverts back to her own sex company following her fourth in the Juddmonte International last month and heads a strong British line-up, which also includes Emily Upjohn and Stay Alert.
Opera Singer will bid to book a possible place in next month's Arc, with Soumillon booked to ride her on Sunday. The rider also partners last year's St Leger winner Continuous in the Prix Foy, in which he heads a field of five.
