'Maybe we need to cap trainers at three' - Sara Bradstock voices Grand National frustration with Mr Vango set to miss out

Sara Bradstock has joined a tide of voices lamenting the evolution of the Randox Grand National, with the changes to racing's greatest spectacle almost certain to keep this year's London National, Peter Marsh and Midlands National winner Mr Vango out of the race.
The massive nine-year-old would get into the race with ease off his current BHA rating of 152. However, because the weights are finalised in February and no penalties are awarded to winners after that point, he is stuck on the outside at number 49 on the list, with a mark of 143, and needs a highly unlikely 15 to come out to get into the field.
The maximum field for the Grand National, run on April 5, was cut to 34 from 40 last year.
