Gordon Elliott explains Brighterdaysahead decision as he opts to bypass Dublin Racing Festival with some of his biggest names
Brighterdaysahead will skip the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday and head straight to the Cheltenham Festival instead, while Romeo Coolio and Gerri Colombe will also be high-profile absentees from the Dublin Racing Festival this weekend.

What her target will be at Cheltenham is not yet known. She is no bigger than 4-1 to take down Constitution Hill in the Unibet Champion Hurdle, but is the general 5-4 favourite to win the Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle on the same day and Elliott said a final decision on where she will go won't be made for another few weeks.
