From the lowest of lows to the highest of highs, Constitution Hill's work rider Matty Gill has experienced it all with the superstar, and he is hoping the best is yet to come in the Unibet Champion Hurdle (4.00).
Gill has been one of the closest to the unbeaten eight-year-old in the lead-up to this year's race as the star two-miler returns to the Cheltenham Festival for the first time since beating State Man in 2023.
After suffering from a respiratory issue and suspected colic, Constitution Hill was forced to miss the defence of his title 12 months ago, and Gill explained how much of a relief it was to see that troubled campaign behind him.
