'Race of the season' on the cards as Golden Ace could face Punchestown rematch with festival fallers

Jeremy Scott forecast a potential "race of the season" after revealing a trip to Punchestown was the only remaining option this spring for surprise Champion Hurdle winner Golden Ace.
And he hinted that a switch to jumping fences could be on the cards in the longer term for a mare who took advantage of the falls of Constitution Hill and State Man when scoring by nine lengths at 25-1 at Cheltenham last week.
The trio could be set for a rematch in the Boodles Champion Hurdle at Punchestown on May 2, when Mares' Hurdle winner Lossiemouth, a late defector from the Champion, could also be in the field.
