'My head says the handicap but my heart says Champion Chase' - Libberty Hunter team agonising over festival target

Evan Williams could let his heart rule his head and run Libberty Hunter in the Queen Mother Champion Chase rather than the Grand Annual, for which he is the favourite. 

Libberty Hunter found only Unexpected Party too good in last year's Grand Annual and has progressed again in two starts this season to leave connections weighing up a choice of Cheltenham Festival targets.

Having won a Cheltenham handicap in December, the nine-year-old was stepped up in class in this month's Grade 2 Game Spirit at Newbury, where he finished second to Master Chewy.
