Sun Chariot heroine Tamfana set for quick Champions Day return as David Menuisier readies talented Ascot squad
David Menuisier is hoping to cap a magical season on Qipco British Champions Day, with a strong Ascot team headed by Saturday's Sun Chariot winner Tamfana in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.
The filly gained a deserved Group 1 when an easy winner over Inspiral at Newmarket and is set for a quick reappearance to take on the colts in the mile showpiece on October 19.
"It was a big relief that something went right," Menuisier said of her breakthrough success. "She's grand and really doesn't look like she's had a hard race. There's a good chance we might be backing up next weekend for the QEII."
